Kelly Arellano, M.S., CCC-SLP

Clinical Expertise:

Kelly Arellano is a bilingual speech language pathologist from Los Angeles who is an expert in pediatric language and speech disorders, with a specialty in supporting multilingual children. She is the founder, President, and Clinical Director of Hola Clinic Bilingual Speech Language Pathology Inc., where she provides bilingual speech language pathology services, assessments, presentations, and supervision in her practice. She has been providing services to infants, toddlers, and children for over a decade in Spanish and English. Kelly also creates resources that can be utilized to support language and speech development, including early vocabulary checklists in multiple languages, and handouts promoting bilingualism. In addition, she travels across the state of California training other SLPs and SLPAs on bilingual assessment and treatment, and has presented seminars at national and state conferences on these topics. She has completed extensive additional training in childhood apraxia of speech, and is listed in the Apraxia Kids recommended SLP Directory - (click here to see her listing). 

 

Education:

Kelly earned her B.A. degree at UCLA in Linguistics & Psychology, and her M.S. degree at CSUN in Communicative Disorders. She completed her speech language pathology internship at UCLA Medical Center in the Neuropsychiatric Institute Early Child Partial Hospitalization Program. She previously worked at Kaiser Permanente Panorama City Medical Center and for LAUSD as a bilingual speech language pathologist before starting her private practice, and has insightful knowledge of medical and educational systems from these experiences.

Volunteer Work:

In addition to her clinical work, Kelly is also the Vice President of Membership and Outreach for the California Speech Language Hearing Association (CSHA), and the immediate past chair of their Early Intervention Committee.
